The Traditional “Festivus”

Festivus is a recently invented secular day of celebration for the entire family and friends.
It is held annually on DEC-23 -- about half-way between the winter solstice and Christmas.

"Happy Festivus" is the traditional greeting of Festivus,
a  holiday featured in "The Strike" episode of Seinfeld which first aired on December 18, 1997.
Since then, many people have been inspired by this zany, offbeat Seinfeld holiday and now
celebrate Festivus as any other holiday. According to the Seinfeld model, Festivus is celebrated each year
on December 23rd.  However  many people celebrate it other times in December and even at other times
throughout the year.  The  slogan of Festivus is "A Festivus for the rest of us!"

The usual holiday tradition of a tree is manifested in an unadorned aluminum pole, which is in direct contrast to normal holiday materialism. Those attending Festivus may also participate in the "Airing of Grievances" which is an opportunity to tell others how they have disappointed you in the past year, followed by a Festivus dinner, and then completed by the "Feats of Strength" where the head of the household must be pinned. All of these traditions are based upon the events in the Seinfeld episode, however, strangely enough, Festivus clearly has roots that pre-date Seinfeld, as it began in the household of Dan O'Keefe, a television writer who is credited for writing the Seinfeld episode.

This is a Festivus Pole:

When I started preparing the files for upload I realised that every recolour that I made was suited for a best wish card to share with you...I wanted to say thank you to all the wonderful people that I met here and to share some little gifts inspired by each creator who keep my game the Sims 2 alive...But I didn't find the time...Started so many projects, but I only finish two...barely...So here it is.
First some painting recolours that should have been shared for Christmas, but maybe better late than never...sorry about that...Thanks to Marioneve for requesting some frame recolours of this painting...which you can find here: http://simpearls.co.uk/simpearls/index.php?topic=1590.0
There is a link to the mesh that was updated by julsfels at her site...The direct link is here:

There are 9 recolours of the painting mostly Christmas related and two frame recolours in separate packages:

The pictures taken have also the frames requested by Marioneve that you can find at the link provided above.
Next project that I want to share are the wishes...I put all images in the package so you can choose which ones you want...Didn't want to show all here, since there are 24 for each day until Christmas, althou not all of them are Christmas related...Just a teaser here:

You can find the mesh by AnYE at this thread:
http://simpearls.co.uk/simpearls/index.php?topic=1995.0  Thanks to AnYE and Katherine...

I don't think HulaSim is reachable. I only found her Pinterest page.

The meshes are from AnYe, so they are found.  As far as I can tell, there are no pictures of the files.  I am prowling around looking to see if I can find a picture; so far, no luck.  Ginnie

Do you know where she saved her files? All her beautiful pictures are gone and the download link take me to an insecure page. This usually happens with downloads that are not there anymore.

I'm glad it works for you. My security program on my computer didn't allow me to go there.
I don't know if she has downloads made for Simpearl. Anyway, all her pictures from here are lost!
