Diva, the link works fine lol. The issue you had was the link's font size, so don't worry as it happens to many of us when we select a different font size than the one by default.
 
My advice... When I make a post with a link, I always click the Preview first and it appears the first one in the page above the Reply box. If I have font size problems with a link, I just right-click and select all my reply in the Reply box, including the link, and then I change the font size for the one I want to use. I always Preview it again to make sure it's fine.


You can also Modify (edit) your post to correct the link's font size using the same method. So don't worry and be patient. Practice makes perfect, or at least close enough lol. We all have been there.

Hi everyone



It's been a busy month, but I have finally compiled an archive of the missing Casaslindas files.


I was unable to create an Imgur account as apparently my phone number couldn't be verified in my region (Australia). So I created a Flickr account which should serve this purpose.


Anyway, I created a Collection (MISSING SIMS 2 CASASLINDAS FILES) consisting of 39 albums; one for each missing download I could find. There could possibly be more, but unfortunately if the Wordpress or Tumblr pages haven't been archived, I can only assume they don't exist. Believe me, I checked...ALOT!!! Each album is complete with hi-res images. screenshots of the original post, release date, file host name and the file name (if known). Each album appears in chronological order, from the newest to the oldest files/sets and they are a combination of files posted at Wordpress or Tumblr.


Hopefully. someone will have the original RAR files stashed away, or at least recognise some of the recolours if they have them in their game.


For any complete sets/files that are FOUND and posted, I will remove the corresponding album from the Collection so it will always remain updated and will contain the missing files only.
I really want to finalise this project before the end of the year, so we'll see how we go with finding the missing files. Maybe give it a couple of weeks, and then I'll post a SFS link to all of the completed sets I have (which I am still fiddling with ie. adding meshes, renaming or resizing images and compressing and zipping) which is just over 200 sets I think. Then, if any missing files are found in the coming months, I'll add them to the SFS Folder.

When you are on the 'Albums' Page, the display is set to 'Large View'. I don't know if this is by default, but there is 3 buttons at the top right (below the blue 'Sign Up' button). First button is 'Toggle Slideshow' and the middle button is 'Justified View'. I created everything in JUSTIFIED VIEW as it displayed the title and all the info perfectly, but use whatever option you want.

Hi Pearls

It's been several weeks since my last post and I'm a little that there have been no replies
But I was wondering if any members have looked at my Flickr Albums to see if they may have any missing files/sets from Casaslindas Wordpress or Tumblr?

I have posted updates on my tumblr page and I have been fortunate to have other simmers contact me with links to many of the missing files. The missing sets have dropped from 39 to 25 including 8 partial sets (some files but not all files)

I am however, still looking for a few sets: one in particular is the 'Citylife Recolors' from Dec 16, 2015. One of the people who 'liked' Helen's Tumblr post was Riekus13. If you can see this post Marieke, would you have downloaded this set and if so, do you still have it? I would be so grateful if you could send me the link if you do. The set was available for download at Casaslindas Wordpress but that particular page was never archived nor available via Wayback.

Another file that I am looking for is the '900 Followers Gift' - a Residential Lot posted on Dec 17, 2015 and available for download on Helen's Tumblr. There were many 'likes' for this lot, including SimPearl members CrazyDestinyFire and chrisaldesigns (Chrisal27).

Would either of you lovely ladies have downloaded this lot and still have it tucked away? Once again, I would be so so grateful if you can send me the link if you still have it. The File Host was 'COPY' and they are now defunct.

It would be so AMAZING if everyone could take a looksie in case they recognise the recolours or check their stash for the original set. The original zip file names (if known) are listed in each album.

I have updated the album since my original post to remove the 'FOUND' sets. Also, there are some sets that were initially marked as missing, have now been renamed to 'PARTIAL' as I have received some files from these sets, but they remain incomplete.

I was hoping to gather as many complete sets as possible as I have renamed the new zip file (with files compressed, meshes included, images and screenshots of original post) to begin with the date of release, so each file will appear in chronological order from start to finish. I will, of course, credit the person/s who finds and shares links to any missing sets with me, as I have done on my tumblr. However, with Christmas coming, I don't have time to spend on this project anymore.

So, I have decided to post the link to my SFS folder on or before Sunday 17/12.

Michelle from Mysimmylicioussims uploaded and shared 11 sets of files to Sims2packrat in 2020. The remaining sets are what she found when I contacted her in late November. She just uploaded them to the same Mediafire folder. Also, the 900 Followers Gift in that folder does not belong to Casaslindas - it is from Maaron. Michelle had it mixed into the wrong folder.


If Christal27, Riekus13 or yourself don't have any of the Casaslindas files listed in the above albums in your personal stash, I think I can finalise this project for now. I'll post the link Sunday night
