Sorry to hear that. How many more contestants do you need for it to run? I thought about signing up but I was scared that I wouldn't be able to stick to my commitment because I can't schedule my pc time, I have parents doing that for me. Like LadySpider and Parchmentpaperandco I was hesitant because I didn't want to let you down mid contest. Seems like we let you down anyway. Can we still turn this around?

i would put myself in the catagory of a lurker. I really looked forward to DOTY every year. I love to see what so many talented designers can do. I have learned a lot about decorating my Sim homes from looking at their designs. I have never attempted to enter any contest because I don't make any CC myself, I don't know how to take good pictures in my game, and I don't know how to link to an album. I'm 60 and technologically challenged! That may be why some other people don't participate in these challenges. They might feel like they can design a nice house or room, but feel unable to present it properly to the forum. I am afraid of looking stupid. I do wish you could reverse your decision on cancelling DOTY 2021. If some are hesitating to sign up because of the time commitment, maybe if there was some way to give everyone a one round pass? The ability to skip one round without being eliminated? I don't know if that would even be possible. Thank you to everyone who has contributed and does so much for this forum. Everything all the creators and admins do is very much appreciated.

Oh no! I'm so disappointed. For me Doty is SimPearls, SimPearls is Doty! It's the highlight of the year.
Doty brought me to SimPearls is the first place, because everybody was talking about Doty and what a great event it is . And now it's gone? I'm crying.

I was going to enter, but my hubby decided on a holiday break and I would have missed round one so did not see the point in signing up. As it turned out we came home this week due to flooding so I could have participated after all :(

I don't know if timing has anything to do with it but a lot of people in my country go on holidays for the Easter/school holiday break.
