Here's a fireplace that I have always liked ever since I downloaded it years and years ago. Liked everything except for the mapping.
Remember how the sides were always completely way off? The back was the same as the front?
Well, last year when we used it for one of the Recolor It challenges over at Black Pearl Sims, I wanted my fireplace to be pretty and have a carved wood mantle piece.
So, I cloned the mesh and fixed the mapping. Gave it a new guid so you can have both the original fireplace by asilym4arabs and this new one.
In the above pic, you can see the difference in the texture from the original and my re-mapped version.
I've made the recolor that came with the original at All4Sims, too :
