Anyone using and recommending scriptorium?
« on: June 22, 2017, 10:16:36 AM »
Hi fellow Sims 2 players,
I am wondering if scriptorium is worth installing. Stumpled upon it when I tried to give the game more of an Open World feeling and again when I was looking for custom stairs. I don't want to mess up my game, so your opinion is highly appreciated.
Keep simming
Love Lana

I've also used it for years and never had a problem related to it.

I've had a problem when shifting the maxis paintings, cause the lower they go, the darker they look, but I think you can find a solution to that or maybe it's only happening to me...Sorry, I think Scriptorium came with a lighting mod that now is outdated...

Huh. I do have the Scriptorium that comes with a lighting mod, but never realized the painting (and a few other shiftable items) problem was related to that.  :ashamed:  Maybe it's because there was such a long time between getting my game set up and actually using shiftable paintings. I haven't found a solution for it.

I have the same problem since I installed scriptorium with lighting mod: shiftable objects are darker in lower positions. But since the lighting in the game is awesome and I canīt feed up with twilights it doesnīt matter, I donīt shift them lower just higher.
