Let's See Your Pets!
« on: April 23, 2017, 08:19:54 PM »
I'm sure that we'd love to see your pets, grand-pets and those who have passed. I have some lovely cats that I will share later but first I'd like you all to meet mysik. He only speaks/understands Russian. He is my little grand-pet. He lives with my daughter. At least until I can come up with a brilliant plan to steal him. He's the naughtiest, smartest little guy. Spoiled rotten too!

Such beautiful pets !

Here are mine. The first is sweet Willow. We just got her in October. We had four dogs before her and we've lost them all to time. When our old girl Daxe passed it took us about a year before we were ready to get another baby.

This is Tink...this cat is a handful and a half. lol She LOVES to go outside but we live in the city so we have to take her out like we do our dog.

Finally Skreech. He LOVES my daughter and this is how they sleep every night. He's about 21 yrs old and I'm dreading the day we have to say goodbye. My daughter will be devastated.

Such beautiful beasties you all have! Here's my furry children (and one of my not furry children)

Here's Sadie, our 13 yr old Beagle/Australian Cattle Dog mix, with Bailey, my 8 yr old clone.

And Jerkface...I mean...Lemmy, our 3 yr old jerkface, I mean cat ;)

And Lita, our 2 yr old Beagle/ACD mix

There's also, Elena, the kitty who hangs around outside (might be because we felt bad and started feeding her and gave her a little kitty cubby...). She didn't like the flash.

Such beautiful fur babies!  They all look so happy and loved.  And Michelle, your sweetie looks like my Winniedog, when she was young. She's 17 , almost 18 now, little old gal like me, lol.  Got to get some pics up of our babies. We have 6 horses, 5 chickens, 2 dogs and 3 rabbits.

I have four beautiful little girls, the older three are 2 and a half the younger one is just over 2.

Pixie, Poppy and Flossie as kittens.

This was taken when they were still with their previous owner, Pixie has the same father as the other two but they are from different litters, she is three weeks older.
Just after this the mum caught and passed on Cat Flu to the kittens. Sadly Flossie got an infection in her eye as the owner did not get her to the vets straight away the were unable to save the eye.

This was taken the day they came to me. Poppy, Pixie and Flossie.

The same week they came to me this little one was born and I fell in love, my sister had rescued the whole litter and was trying to re-home them and we agreed to have this one

When she was curled up on my lap she reminded me of a scene in Dumbo with the little baby elephant curled up, as she a girl we called her Nellie. (You know the song, Nellie the elephant packed her trunk?)

These are them now.

Flossie - my sweet girl

Poppy (with my grandson) my gorgeous girl

Pixie - my beautiful girl

Nellie - the naughty one

Believe it or not I'm under this lot, this is how they sleep at night, the one whose closest to me is Flossie she lays on my chest.

Here are my animals or there are only 2 that are mine but the others have been here quite a lot.

Zack is a mixed race and filled 10 years this summer so he's old. People are a little afraid of him because he is big and powerful but he is like a lamb but a good guard dog. In December, he was diagnosed with osteoarthritis when he hit the stairs one day, so now he is eating pain because the vet thought that as long as he has a joy of life we could give him that and he is a happy dog who likes to run In the woods in the evenings. A few years ago, he managed to scare away a lizard who had just killed a deer because he would eat himself, so he caught most rats, mice and little birds.

Bella is a Jack Russell (with long legs) and is 6 years old she belongs to my daughter but is here when my daughter does things she can not follow. She captures everything she can capture especially mice in the barn. One day she managed to catch a duck who could not fly (she's digging down her bytes)

Gustaf was my daughter's cat who would like to be here in the winters when my daughter was working. He managed to catch more squirrels. My daughter got rid of him when he suddenly began to make his or her needs, mainly among clothes and toys.

Lotten was my rabbit and she died in 2014 when she was 10 years old. She went well with Zack because she hit him on the nose a few times so he knew that she was getting hurt when she was milling. He used to like washing her. Bella was more interested in trying to eat her.

Maybe not a pet but this is my grandson Jamie with his favorite cow.

Cows and bunnies Oh my! Love it Tahoe!
Betsy that cat is gorgeous, such an uncommon coat! I had and orange and white cat like him, with that DEEP orange color I'll have to dig up a picture, I might update this post later.

This is our dog Winston. My boyfriend literally found him 4 years ago, while he was walking around on campus, and he followed him home. We think he's about 5.

There are other animals in the house, though I only have pics for two. This is Yoshi:

And this is Rey'gall the bearded dragonHe's about a foot long

There are also three cats in this house. Somewhere.

I don't have a pet of my own, but here's one of my favorite critters to keep track of:

This beauty and her man-bird live a couple-few miles down from my house. Whenever I drive down 200th, I have to slow down and check out if the eagles are at home. They've been home a lot lately as they have been busy nesting. The papa hasn't been at home the past couple days when I drove by at the noon hour.

The second photo is slightly fuzzy -- kind of like this year's protege - but I was sitting in my car with the window down using extreme don't-move-or you-wreck-your-shot zoom to get these shots on the way to dropping off my granddaughter for school. She enjoys looking for eagles, too.
I don't know if they have more than one baby in that nest. Last year they had two or three eaglets and I haven't seen them around since last fall.

That's INCREDIBLE! I love finding raptors. Being able to track them like this is a privilege. Thank you for sharing them!

What a wonderful idea!  Everyone's fur babies are so adorable.  Here are two of mine:

Maggie - my little Pekingese -- She has her hair shaved in this picture and is 14 years old

This is Link -- he is a sweet kitty -- he is diabetic, but doing really well.  I think he is about 6 or 7 years old.  My daughter found him abandoned on the highway when he was just a little kitten.
